The Beatles – Please Please Me, a single UK 1964 stereo LP on Parlophone PCS 3042, vinyl EX with a VG+ flip-back sleeve and Emitex inner sleeve.
Description from the seller
I am very careful to ensure I describe the record in as much detail as possible erring if anything on the side of caution
Prior to listing all records are professionally cleaned using a VPI MW-1 Cyclone RCM vacuum record cleaner and played throughout to gauge play condition and when sold are removed from the sleeve and packaged in custom mailers with card stiffeners for added protection
1964 possibly 65 - UK 6th press stereo LP housed in its original front laminated tri-fold flip back Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve complete with the original and correct Emitex advertising rice paper inner sleeve. Pressed on heavyweight EMI quality vinyl weighing 152 gm with yellow and black Parlophone company labels, all in all a fine original more scarcer stereo press example which appears to have received only minimal careful play and clearly been well cared for.
Cat No PCS 3042
Matrix No YEX 94-1/95-1
Stampers 3 RM/1 RD
CONDITION:
Vinyl play - EX All tracks play through beautifully and clearly been with little or no background noise, near silence between tracks, apart from the odd isolated click there is little to fault here.
Vinyl visual - EX - Superb surface sheen with little evidence of play, some light sleeve removal and play hairline scratches both sides retain their original high gloss sheen with no warping evident.
Labels - EX -The Parlophone yellow and black company labels again look very clean with only the odd age foxing mark and a few wispy spindle scratches ro each side all text is clear and sharp with no damage.
Inner sleeve - EX- Original Emitex advertising double die cut thick paper sleeve, always important to most collectors this is present, general light aging with the odd mark no seam splits or tears.
Sleeve - EX- Front laminated panel with little to fault the odd tiny edge creasing, again clearly been well stored and cared for since new all edges and corners remain sharp with little wear same for some light corner bumping wear to top left corner the rear Matt panel featuring the sleeve notes and track listing bears some general aging and faint ring wear but remains satisfyingly well preserved for its age each of the 3 laminated flip backs remain tight and adhered apart from a 4cm portion of the bottom flip back with has a tear resulting in this area becoming unstuck I have included this in the photos.
Overall a fine example of more sought after stereo format and one that will not disappoint.
Any questions please let me know.
