Description:
Pair of vintage telescopes dating from the 1990s, both kept in their solid teak cases.
They come from my private collection of nautical items currently up for sale in various auctions: small instruments that still carry the echo of routes and imagined horizons.
The first telescope is nickel-plated brass with a sunshade, sturdy and bright, with a more imposing presence.
The second, more compact, is natural brass, discreet and functional, almost a pocket companion for a deck officer.
