This characterful brass ship’s lamp, also known as an onion lamp, is a particularly decorative nautical object that combines atmosphere, history and craftsmanship. Originally inspired by ship lighting such as anchor lights and cabin lighting, this lamp now forms a stylish focal point in both classical and modern interiors.
The lamp is made of brass and glass and features a lovely spherical shade of thick, smoke-colored glass with a striking relief of organic, rounded shapes. This special glass creates a wonderful play of light and spreads a warm, atmospheric and almost magical glow when the lamp is switched on.
Another special detail is at the rear. There is a wall bracket with four mounting holes, allowing the lamp to be used both freestanding and on the wall.
