Mooring light "Ankerlicht" in brass and Fresnel glass – Netherlands, around 1920–1940

Authentic maritime mooring light ("Ankerlicht") in solid brass, equipped with a thick Fresnel glass lens designed to diffuse a circular 360° beam. This type of lantern was used on sailing vessels and ships at mooring.

The piece shows a beautiful old patina, with its Fresnel glass intact, mounting rings, and original structure. It is an iconic item of nautical equipment from the early 20th century, today highly sought after for maritime collections and decorative purposes.

Condition:
Good overall condition with a uniform patina. Glass in good condition, wear appropriate to age. No significant deformation visible.
