Vorg, Pearl - Effect pedal - Japan

Offered: a particularly beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained Vorg by Pearl F-504 Flanger / Analog Delay Effect, a rare vintage Japanese effect pedal from the 1970s.

The F-504 is much more than just a classic flanger. This early analog effect combines wide, warm flanging with short analog delay capabilities. As a result, it is suitable for traditional “jet plane” flanger sounds, rich modulation, short echo effects, and more experimental vintage sounds.

Inside is an original Reticon BBD chip (bucket-brigade delay), a beloved component from the analog era that strongly contributes to the character and the saturated, organic sound of this pedal. Internal photos have been added to document this.

Why does it bear the name Vorg instead of Pearl?
Vorg was an early name linked to Pearl for effect gear. The F-504 belongs to the same early Japanese Pearl effects family as the Pearl F-604 Flanger / Analog Delay. This unit is therefore an authentic Pearl-related effect from the early days, but produced with the considerably less commonly encountered Vorg branding. That very combination makes this pedal interesting for collectors of vintage Japanese effects.

Condition
The pedal is in very nice vintage condition, especially given its age. The enclosure, markings, knobs and hardware present exceptionally well, with only light signs of use and aging that befit an original effect from the 1970s. Please examine the photos carefully; they are part of the description.

Operation
The pedal has been tested and is fully working. The signal passes correctly and the effect section functions as it should.
