Montblanc StarWalker Rubber Line roller pen, made in Germany in the Fine XX century, with a platinum-plated and composite body, black rubber-coated grip and cap, 12 cm long and 1.2 cm in diameter, serial MBHV5SQV2, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Here we present a specimen with modern, tech-inspired charm, belonging to the StarWalker collection from the Hamburg house: the Montblanc StarWalker Rubber Line Roller Pen.
The design of this writing instrument stands out for its body and cap coated in black rubberized resin, ornamented with a sophisticated grid pattern. The material contrast is enhanced by the glossy metallic finishes on the grip section, the rings, and the aerodynamically profiled clip. To seal the line’s identity, we find the famous transparent dome at the top of the cap, inside which the white Montblanc star emblem is visible.
The specimen is a cap-to-screw pen, designed to be securely screwed even onto the rear cap of the body during writing. The photographs depicting the instrument disassembled into its main components show the refill mechanism, which is opened by smoothly unscrewing the metal front grip from the central body to replace the internal refill.
Regarding its condition, the item is in good condition but clearly shows signs of constant daily use that need to be specified. As meticulously documented in the close-up photographs, the shiny metal section of the grip shows numerous oxidation marks (small dark spots and speckling spread over the surface). Additionally, on the cap and the body, the black rubberized resin surface shows small defects or irregularities in some areas (slight abrasions or microscopic detachment of the rubber coating), always visible in the detail photos.
