Here we present at auction an iconic and always sought-after piece, the perfect writing instrument for everyday work use: the Montblanc Meisterstück Classique Platinum Line Ballpoint Pen (Model P164).
The Classique (164) model is undoubtedly the most famous and widespread pen of the house. This fascinating Platinum Line variant abandons the classic yellow gold in favor of more modern, sober and “glacial” platinum-plated finishes, which create a wonderful contrast with the cigar-shaped body made of deep black precious resin. On the cap dome is obviously the iconic white star emblem.
The specimen is configured as a Ballpoint Pen, with the traditional and reliable twist mechanism. The excellent photographs of the disassembled instrument confirm the presence of the robust internal metal threading, a hallmark of quality and the product’s absolute originality.
