Description from the seller

Fine Art baryta paper print on Hahnemühle.
Delivered with certificate of authenticity. Signed and numbered.
Packaged in a cardboard tube shipped from France.

Mathilde Oscar was born in Paris in 1980; she lives and works in Cannes.
Passionate about painting, which she initially practiced, she studied the history of Art. When she discovers photography, it is to transpose her painterly ideas strongly inspired by the great masters of painting, Romanticism and Neoclassicism.
The creation of sets, costumes and props often adds to her creative process, but sometimes digitally.
She thus develops a unique visual art blending the codes of classical painting with photography and digital manipulation.
Often anachronistic and quirky, her portraits seem lost in an unknown space-time, with multiple references to the history of Art.
Awards :
Gold Award, winner of creative photography, The Portrait Masters 2019
Silver Award, The Portrait Masters 2020
Silver Award, WPE 2019 / 2020
