Magnificent and rare Belle Époque antique cigarette holder (circa 1890-1910), carved from a block of genuine mother-of-pearl with exceptional iridescent reflections.
The tip is adorned with a solid yellow gold collar featuring an official assay mark. This high-quality Parisian piece is presented in its precious original leather/black case with beige velvet and silk interior.
The inner lid of the case bears the fine gold hallmark of the brand: "FABRICATION PARISIENNE - C.C. Paris - MATHISS" as well as the inscription "OR CONTRÔLÉ".
There is a beautiful amber patina on the tip, evidence of its past use and authenticity, with no structural weakness in the mother-of-pearl.
