Harlekin is a 1991 original aquarelle portrait by Christine Klöhn (XX), 97 cm high by 39 cm wide, in multicolour with red and yellow, signed, in excellent condition, produced in Germany, presented under glass with a passepartout, with framing available separately.
Description from the seller
The painting "Harlequin" by Christine Klöhn captivates with its beautiful autumn colors, matching the subject: a dancing Harlequin with a hollowed-out pumpkin. The dimensions of the artwork are unusual. It is tall and very narrow and stands out when hung. The paper edges are torn, not cut cleanly, or only smooth. Accordingly, the edges reflect the liveliness of the Harlequin and the leafy world.
The painting is framed under glass and laid on the matting, so that the edges are visible. The frame is a black wide lacquered wooden frame — a lovely framing.
I bought the work directly from the artist Christine Klöhn; the certificate is uploaded as a photo.
The artist has lived for years in Berlin-Schöneberg and is known for her colorful watercolors. An artist who continually reinvents herself, explores new paths, and uses new materials. Her works are familiar to the Berlin audience at numerous exhibitions. Further information can be found on her website.
The picture is sold without a frame, as shipping is easier and cheaper.
The painting can also be purchased with a frame, including the frame at the sale price + 100 EUR. Please contact us in advance regarding shipping costs. Pickup in Berlin-Friedenau would of course be the easiest.
