Broer Dobbelsteen was a versatile Brabantian artist who made his name mainly with his colorful and expressive paintings. Although he was originally trained as a designer at the academy in Eindhoven, he changed course in 1964 to devote himself entirely to fine art. His work, which often centers on human figures and abstract forms, stands out for its vibrant use of color and a very distinctive, recognizable handwriting. Until his death in 2019 he remained a prominent figure in the Geldrop region, where he spent many years building a body of work that continues to surface frequently with collectors and at art auctions.

Viewing is of course possible. Additionally, we have our own in-house framing workshop, celebrating its 85th anniversary year. We take great care in packaging every artwork. Packing is bespoke: every painting, work on paper or object is assessed and packed separately according to the most suitable and safe method. We take into account size, technique, condition and vulnerability of the work.
Where necessary we use extra protective materials, robust bespoke packaging and professional transport solutions, so that your purchase arrives safely and in optimal condition.
