18 KT White Gold Pendant with Natural Ruby (Corundum) 13.61 ct and Natural Diamonds around 3.00 ct – Gemmological Certificate
Description
Elegant 18 KT white gold pendant (750/1000), adorned with a sizeable natural ruby (corundum) and a luminous double halo of natural diamonds.
This is a jewel of notable presence, characterized by a central gem of substantial carat weight and a classic, balanced workmanship, capable of enhancing the décolleté with refinement and personality.
Natural Ruby (Corundum)
Weight: 13.61 ct
Cut: Mixed oval faceted
Dimensions: approximately 17.61 x 13.74 x 6.35 mm

As stated in the gemological certificate, the gem is identified as natural ruby variety corundum.
The present pendant has previously been the subject of additional gemological documentation in which the ruby was indicated as originating from Myanmar (Burma), one of the historically most valued origins for this gem variety.
The current gemological certificate attached identifies the gem as natural corundum variety ruby, without reporting its geographic origin.
Declared treatment: infiltration (glass-filled).
Diamonds
The central ruby is enhanced by an elegant double halo of brilliant-cut diamonds.
Inner ring: 20 diamonds (0.0625 ct each by weight)
Outer ring: 27 diamonds (0.0625 ct weight each)
Pendant bail: 1 principal diamond + 3 small diamonds
As stated in the gemological certificate from the Gemmological Analysis Center of Dr. Pio Visconti, the diamonds have been verified as natural and present the following characteristics:
Color: G/H
Clarity: VS
Total diamond carat weight: approximately 3.00 ct
The pendant also features three additional small diamonds on the chain ring in addition to the diamonds forming the double halo around the central ruby.
The diamonds stand out for their remarkable brilliance and contribute to an elegant sparkle around the central ruby.
Setting
White gold 18 KT (750/1000)
Total weight: about 12.66 g
Indicative period: 2000s
The setting presents classic and elegant lines that enhance the beauty of the central gem.
Note: the jewelry is sold without a chain.
Certification
Original gemological certificate issued by:
Center for Gemmological Analysis of Dr. Pio Visconti – Valenza
Certificate No. C226183 – April 2026
Conditions
Used jewelry in excellent overall condition.
Recently inspected at the Center for Gemmological Analysis of Dr. Pio Visconti (Valenza) and sealed directly by the laboratory in an official container.
There is only a slight surface mark on the ruby, comparable to a small scratch due to normal use over time and visible only on careful inspection.
This mark is purely superficial and does not affect the stability of the gem, its safety, or the overall appearance of the jewelry.
Delivery
The jewelry has recently undergone gemological verification at the Center for Gemmological Analysis of Dr. Pio Visconti (Valenza).
Following the checks, the pendant was sealed directly by the laboratory in an official container, guaranteeing the correspondence between the jewel and the attached gem documentation.
Shipping will be via DHL Express:
- fully traceable
- insured for the full sale amount
- carefully packaged
The pendant will be shipped with the original gemological certificate and the laboratory’s official seal.
To ensure maximum security, the package will be delivered in person at the DHL center in the Malpensa area. DHL personnel will verify the correspondence between the package contents and the attached documentation before accepting the shipment.
This process offers a high level of security and traceability throughout all transport stages.
Delivery in an elegant jewelry box (not original).
Note
The photographs were taken under different lighting conditions to represent the jewel as realistically as possible.
The diamonds appear particularly bright and brilliant in person. Since professional photography equipment or jewelry-specific lights were not used, the images may not fully capture their actual brilliance and the play of reflections visible in real life.
Color, reflections, and transparency may also appear slightly different depending on lighting and the device used for viewing.
Additional Information
About two months ago I sold on Catawiki a ring from the same collection, featuring ruby and diamonds with similar gemological characteristics.
The shipment was handled with the same security procedures described in this listing and the transaction concluded with the buyer’s full satisfaction, who left positive feedback on the platform.
I have chosen to apply the same level of gemological verification, packaging, and shipping to this jewel so that the buyer can receive it in the best possible condition.
