With Love Takes Off, SKE offers a poetic and urban work, in a limited edition of only 10 copies, in A2 format.
This creation directly evokes the imagination of Banksy’s iconic Girl with Balloon, while reworking it in a broader and more spectacular reading. Here, the simple red balloon becomes a swarm of inflated hearts, almost excessive, almost uncontrollable. Love no longer floats gently: it lifts, overflows, and tears the ground apart.
At the center of the composition, a small black-and-white silhouette seems trapped in a cage carried by these red balloons. The contrast is strong: childhood fragility against the power of dreams, confinement against the desire to escape, the cage against the impulse of the heart.
SKE reprises the codes of street art, stencil, drips, and urban poetry to create an image that is immediately legible, yet packed with symbolism. The heart-shaped balloons become at once a promise, an escape, a force of liberation. A work about love, hope, and that spark of innocence that always seeks to rise above reality.
A strong, highly decorative piece, ideal for collectors sensitive to the world of contemporary street art, to Banksy references, to visual poetry, to the red balloon, to childhood, to love, and to works with strong emotional charge.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring much of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s profile has risen notably. He won the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then was named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he has also had a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE has also made his mark in the digital artwork market, a major trend of the last two years, increasing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play characterize a style that has become essential.
SKE is undeniably an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Cited & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His linework carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating Banksy’s subversion or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to remix the Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the legendary Game Boy universe to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXE, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style that sometimes recalls Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the aesthetic of "Hype": they cross the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes reminiscent of Jeff Koons’s polished surfaces or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior.
