Elegant and sought-after Savinelli Collection 2000, made in Italy in one of the most appreciated celebratory series of the historic Milanese workshop.
The pipe features a stunning faceted head (panel bulldog) with a smooth finish that enhances a briar of exceptional quality, characterized by an alternating flame grain and bird's eye beautifully distributed. The original black Lexan mouthpiece preserves the inlay with the historic golden Savinelli shield.
The stamp "R" on the shank identifies the grade of the briar. In Savinelli production the letter is used to distinguish specimens selected for the aesthetic quality of the grain, superior to standard production and destined for the more refined series. It does not correspond to the "Autograph" or "Golden Jubilee" grades, but still indicates a selection of high-level briar, with particularly prized markings and careful material choice.
