Vintage Japanese cigarette box made in the Meiji/Taisho Era, featuring a folktale themed lid hammered from the inside intricately and skillfully done, with a good aged patina and a lighter silvering around the sides of the box. Cedar-lined interior. Patent no. 56207. Size: 15.5 x 9 x 5 cm. Weight 540 g excellent vintage condition.
