Description from the seller
Rare Ossa 250cc trial Tu-yo for mountain biking/motoalpino riding
Designed to carry a passenger, also evident in the model name (Tu y yo in Spanish, you and me)
Produced in very few units shortly before the doors closed of the eponymous Spanish motorcycle factory.
Engine derived from the classic base of the historic Ossa M.A.R. but with modifications aimed at updating and improving its thermal performance, updated and improved compared to previous models and mounted for the first time on the Ossa Yellow.
Our motorcycle is very well preserved and with all its original parts
Original front fender from the era, typical rear fiberglass fender
Original side panels with period stickers.
Original saddle with the characteristic "Ossa" logo
The upholstery shows some wear but is overall intact.
Mounted the comfortable rear luggage rack, very sturdy and designed to carry luggage for the typical trial-mountain use.
Here it is intact and in excellent condition.
Original front and rear headlights.
Handlebars, levers, grips and all the motorcycle parts including the throttle, clutch and brake cables are original to the period and never restored
Beautiful and dent-free, the typical OSSA expansion-type exhaust.
Tank decals are new.
Engine.
Oil change performed
Thermal:
Due to the long idle period it became necessary to replace the piston with re-boring of the cylinder wall.
The piston is new with zero kilometers and needs breaking in.
Crankcase in order, there are no noises indicating wear of the connecting rod or crankshaft bearings.
A rare piece for collectors of Spanish vintage trials and still fully usable for mountain strolls.
Italy:
Ownership transfer at buyer’s expense
Cost €200
For abroad, dismantling for export is required at the buyer’s expense.
Cost €180
Upon request, Italian registration papers and license plate can be provided to the buyer if they commit to converting them to the plate and registration of the destination country.
Transport at buyer’s expense
Italy from €250 to €350
Europe: transport at buyer’s expense
Central Europe €550
North/East €650

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
