Splendid KKT MC 5 produced in 10/1974.
Total cosmetic restoration
Frame sandblasted and repainted in KTM gray RAL color
Tank repainted in KTM RAL color
Side panels repainted in KTM red + green RAL color
Rare vintage plastic front fenders
Rare vintage plastic side panels
The following parts are new:
Tank strap
Stickers
Complete exhaust
Air filter
Seat upholstery
Magura lever cover
Magura grips
Plastic number plate
Bolts and fittings, partly re-zinc plated; everything that was well preserved has been left as found.
Newly zinc-coated foot pegs
Engine:
New Helko piston to be run-in
The connecting rod, bearings and crankshaft are in excellent condition.
The engine is equipped with a convenient decompressor. Cable and lever to be mounted if you are interested in using it.
The engine still features easy starting with a few kicks after using the Bing carburetor's manual choke.
Bing carburetor cleaned and overhauled
The KTM is characterized by good, well-delivered power and not abrupt. Dimensionally similar to a 50cc cross bike, therefore nimble and easy to ride.
Excellent for historic races and reenactments
