Heidi Daamen-Meijer (1940 - 2025) was born in The Hague, Netherlands. She studied drawing at the “Rijksnormaalschool” in Amsterdam between 1959 and 1962. In 1963 she married artist Theo Daamen. She became known for her often large figures of children and animals.

Heidi Daamen-Meijer (1940 - 2025) werd geboren in Den Haag (NL). Ze volgde een opleiding tekenen aan de “Rijksnormaalschool” in Amsterdam tussen 1959 en 1962. In 1963 trouwde ze met kunstenaar Theo Daamen. Ze is bekend geworden met haar vaak grote figuren van kinderen en dieren.
