HISTORICAL NOTES
The Carlino family represents one of the most authentic and deeply rooted realities in the processing of Erica arborea burl, with a tradition passed down for over four generations.
Historically specialized in the production of pipe subassemblies, the family has supplied for decades both industrial manufacturers and artisans, standing out for the quality of the raw material and for expertise in burl seasoning.
While maintaining traditional techniques, the company has evolved its production by introducing:
- finished artisanal pipes
- predrilled cores and blanks
- subassemblies for new artisans
This contributed to the birth of numerous emerging pipemakers at an international level.
The tradition is represented by:
Vito Carlino (father) and Carlo Carlino (son), custodians and developers of the family business.
