Biography: Enzo SAN MARCO is a Franco-Italian painter and photographer born September 10, 1992 in Bari. He trained academically in chromatology and the symbolism of forms at the Institute of Fine Arts in Foggia. Solo exhibitions in San Severo, San Giovanni Rotondo, and group shows in Manfredonia and Bari. He has lived in the south of France since 2024. A lover of abstract, colorful, minimalist, geometric, and sometimes symbolic art. For him, art, even when abstract, is above all a choice of composition, shapes, and colors, in their opposition and complementarity. Fascinated by the artistic worlds of Mondrian (primary colors), Kandinsky (forms), and Vermeer (composition), he studies the color wheel and believes that each form or color has its own spirituality, and that their assembly—infinitely and randomly adjustable—would be like an alphanumeric code. In each of his paintings, he tries to create a composition of complementary shapes and colors, generating an interaction between them and giving movement while breaking lines.
