Shuzan 周山 - Box - Ceramic

A superb Satsuma ceramic round box on three feet, measuring circa 16cm across and weighing 920g, delicately decorated in polychrome enamels and abundant gold to depict orchids and intricate floral patterns, with butterflies to the interior.

Marked Shu Zan 周山in two characters to the underside.


Condition: Very good. Two chips to the lid rim, no further significant damages or repairs. Minimal wear.
