Montblanc Bohème Gold Line ballpoint pen in black precious resin with gilt finishes, 2 cm in diameter and 12 cm long, originating from Germany in the early 20th century, in excellent condition and in working order, without stones.
Description from the seller
Here we present an interesting and refined variant of one of the most loved lines from the Hamburg house: the Montblanc Bohème Gold Line Ballpoint Pen (Stone-Free).
Unlike the more widespread Bohème models, famous for the colored synthetic gems set in the clip, this specific version stands out for a more sober, classic, and rigorous aesthetic, stone-free.
It preserves the unmistakable proportions of the Bohème collection: a slightly more compact and 'stout' barrel compared with the Meisterstück line, paired with elegant flat ends that ensure excellent portability and perfect ergonomics.
The body and cap are made in traditional black precious resin, mirror-polished, creating a warm and luxurious contrast with the bright yellow-gold plated finishes. On the characteristic flat top sits the iconic six-point Montblanc white star.
Technically, we are looking at a very comfortable and reliable Ballpoint Pen. The tip extrusion is controlled by the smooth twist mechanism. As documented by the photographs showing the instrument disassembled, replacing the refill (uses the practical Montblanc standard ballpoint refills) is simple and intuitive by unscrewing the front part (the cone) from the main body.
The object’s condition is to be considered in excellent overall condition. The precious resin maintains a splendid shine and is structurally perfect, wholly free of cracks, chips, or signs of drops; only very slight and physiological superficial micro-scratches (hairlines) visible in backlight, typical of normal careful use. The yellow-gold plating remains well preserved, shiny and free of evident oxidation. The twist mechanism is smooth and flawless.
