"Ceryle rudis" belongs to the LONERS collection, these portraits capture the beauty and extraordinary fragility of life, offering a conscious and profound visual testimony of a fauna to be preserved. Each of the depicted animals is unique in its beauty and characteristics and tells the courage, patience, pride and delicate perfection of its species. The title of the photo describes one characteristic or detail.
"Ceryle rudis" takes its title from the scientific name of the animal portrayed in order to valorize and exalt every peculiarity, pushing the observer to a thorough posthumous exploration. This Kingfisher was photographed along the majestic Murchison Falls in Uganda.
The LONERS collection has been exhibited since 2020 in Rome.
