Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
D-Initial fountain pen from France, in resin/polyester with gold plating, 14 cm long and 1.1 cm in diameter, in good used condition and fully operational.
Description from the seller
The pen presents a very good overall condition, with careful aesthetics and a level of preservation appropriate to responsible use. The body in black lacquer maintains a deep, uniform shine, with very slight signs of use visible only upon close inspection, with no material loss or structural defects.
The gold elements (clip, central band, and caps) preserve an excellent appearance, with an intense, uniform shine, showing only minimal superficial marks typical of use and the passage of time, with no significant plating wear.
The cap closes correctly by a press-fit system, ensuring a firm and functional closure. The clip maintains proper tension and alignment, with no play.
The steel nib is in very good condition, clean and well aligned, with no deformities or visible damage. The feed has been inspected, guaranteeing a correct ink flow and smooth, continuous writing.
The pen has been tested and serviced, and is fully operational and ready for immediate use.
Conservation recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality fountain pen inks, avoiding pigmented inks. If not used for an extended period, rinse with warm water, dry completely before storing, and keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Always operate the mechanism gently to preserve proper function.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper conservation.
Happy bidding!
