An angelic winged cherub entwines the soft gray giant, while the famous divine hand advances from the right to brush the creature, in a cloud bathed in celestial light. This unique splash bears the signature « メドサン » (Medsan).

The visual strength of the composition lies in its painterly treatment imitating the Sistine Chapel fresco: nacreous cherubs’ flesh, soft drapery, ochre and gold clouds, cracks and patina on the Renaissance ceiling.
