Montblanc - StarWalker Platinum Resin - Pen

Here we present one of the most dynamic and contemporary models from the Hamburg house, a perfect balance between the traditional elegance of resin and a design with a strong hi-tech accent: the Montblanc StarWalker Platinum Resin Roller Ball / Fineliner.

The body and cap of this writing instrument are skillfully crafted in the classic deep black precious resin, whose mirror finish creates a magnificent contrast with the bright platinum-plated finishes on the characteristic aerodynamic clip and the heavy structural rings. The true distinctive feature of this specific configuration is the grip section: made from solid metal, it features a sophisticated micro-grooved diamond-cut pattern. This detail not only guarantees an extremely solid and comfortable grip during long writing sessions, but also gives the pen a unmistakably bold and modern character. To crown the silhouette, the famous transparent dome on the top of the cap houses the emblem of the floating white star.

The specimen is configured for liquid ink writing (Rollerball or Fineliner). The cap, equipped with a secure screw closure to protect the nib, can conveniently be screwed onto the end of the barrel during use, ensuring perfect balance of weight in the hand. As documented by the photographs showing the pen dismantled, replacing the refill (currently fitted with an original Montblanc Rollerball) is simple and intuitive, by unscrewing the grip block from the resin body.

The object’s condition is to be considered excellent overall. The precious resin retains a splendid gloss and is structurally perfect, completely free of cracks, chips, or obvious defects; only very minor and physiologically normal micro-scratches (hairlines) from normal careful use are present. The platinum plating is intact and shiny, as is the distinctive diamond-cut grip, which shows no wear. The upper transparent dome is crystal-clear and the floating star is intact.
