Sundo Stäcker & Olms – Mechanical barograph – Hamburg – Germany – approx. 1970–1980
Offered is a fine mechanical barograph from the German brand Sundo – Stäcker & Olms, Hamburg. This precision instrument automatically records changes in air pressure on a rotating paper chart and was widely used in meteorological stations, navigation, laboratories, and by weather enthusiasts.
The barograph is housed in an elegant wooden case with a large glass top cover, allowing the measuring mechanism and the recording chart to be clearly visible. The scale shows air pressure values in mbar (hPa). The instrument is provided with a adjustable recording arm and is suitable for weekly air pressure recordings.
