Rare Ensemble Vintage: Apple //e complete & functional (AZERTY Keyboard)
Attention collectors and retro-computing enthusiasts! I am putting up for sale a magnificent original Apple //e ensemble, fully complete, clean and functional. It’s a superb piece of 1980s technological history.
The computer starts perfectly, displays the famous Apple //e welcome screen and is configured for the European/French market.
The lot includes:
* Apple //e computer (Model A2S2064F): European version assembled in Ireland, operating on 220-240V mains. Equipped with its original AZERTY mechanical keyboard, very clean.
* Apple DuoDisk 5.25" floppy drive (Model A9M0108): The official Apple dual drive, manufactured in Japan, ideal for stacking perfectly on top of the monitor.
* Apple Monitor II (Model A2M2010P): Original green phosphor display, manufactured by Samsung in Korea. The display is functional.
* Included expansion cards (see motherboard photos): The motherboard is very clean, solid and equipped with several expansion cards (including a 80-column/memory expansion card, DuoDisk controller card, Z80 card, etc.).
Aesthetic and technical condition:
* Aesthetic: The set is in superb preserved condition for its age. The plastics show a very light, uniform patina of the era (very little yellowing). No major cracks visible.
* Technical: The main unit, the monitor and the DuoDisk power on (see indicators and screen display). The interior is clean, free of accumulated dust or suspicious oxidation traces.
