Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life traces its roots to artisanal craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, varnishing, and chroming.

The turning point in his life arrives with the COVID-19 pandemic: forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always guarded. What for decades had been "just" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a language of recognized contemporary art, proving that it’s never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.
