ARDOR URANO HAND MADE ITALY
Splendid Ardor Urano hand-made pipe from Italy, handcrafted by the renowned Italian workshop of the Rovera family, one of the brands most appreciated in the international landscape of high-quality pipes.
The piece belongs to the renowned "Urano" series, one of the most iconic finishes in Ardor's production. The particular deep rustic finish highlights the quality of the briar and creates a fascinating contrast with the smooth, polished parts, enhancing the pipe's unique character.
The Poker Freehand shape features elegant and modern lines, with a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. The original mouthpiece is enriched by the characteristic Ardor insert and a refined decorative element in flame-burl briar.
Legible markings:
• ARDOR
• URANO
• HAND MADE

Estimated dating: circa 1985-1995.
HISTORY OF THE ARDOR BRAND
The Ardor brand was born in 1974 in Cuorgnè, Piedmont, on the initiative of the Rovera family. The name "Ardor" derives from the combination of the names Antonio Rovera and Dorelio Rovera, founders of the workshop.
Thanks to the use of carefully selected briar and to strictly artisanal production, Ardor has established itself in the world as one of the most representative brands of the Italian pipe school. Its creations are appreciated by collectors and smokers in Europe, the United States, and Japan for originality, build quality, and strong stylistic personality.
The Urano series represents one of Ardor's most recognizable historic lines and continues to be sought after by enthusiasts of Italian handmade pipes.
The pipe is in excellent condition, with minimal signs of use compatible with its age. Original mouthpiece, clearly legible markings, and perfectly intact structure.
Estimated collectible value: € 200 – 250.
