Nanni Valentini (Sant'Angelo in Vado, 1932 – Vimercate, 1985) was an Italian painter, sculptor and ceramist, considered one of the major figures in ceramic sculpture in the postwar period. Trained in Pesaro, Faenza, and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, he developed an artistic research centered on earth and matter, transforming ceramics into a powerful expressive medium.
