Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A vintage fountain pen, model 24, with a black resin body, gold-plated clip and a 14k gold nib, dating from the mid-20th century, in good working order.
Description from the seller
The piece is presented in very good overall condition, maintaining an elegant and homogeneous aesthetic in keeping with its age. The body in black resin preserves an attractive shine, with slight micro-scratches derived from normal use over time, visible only upon close inspection. No cracks, deformations, or material loss are observed.
The cap is well fitted, with a firm and proper closure. The gold-plated clip maintains a good presence, with light signs of use and a soft patina typical of the passage of years, without deformations. The decorative rings show minimal wear and retain their structural integrity.
The 14-karat gold nib, characteristic of the model with a semi-concealed design, is in good condition, with engravings well defined. The point shows normal and uniform wear, compatible with proper use, without visible deformations or evident misalignment.
The section and threads are in good condition, with no appreciable damage. The piston-filling system is present and complete, maintaining its original configuration.
Overall, it is a well-preserved fountain pen, with signs of use appropriate to its era, which fully preserves its vintage character and its appeal as a collectible piece.
Conservation recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. Clean with lukewarm water if not used for a while, dry completely before storing, and keep in a dry place, without direct exposure to sunlight or extreme temperatures. Operate the filling system gently.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
