VACACIONES is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. A woman sleeps deeply among cushions of different colors, surrendered to rest in a relaxed, free posture. The body, arranged diagonally on the sofa, conveys the sense of an unscheduled pause, while a hat left at her feet suggests a sunny day, travel or escape interrupted by sleep. The scene turns an intimate moment into an image of serenity and enjoyment.
