ARTIS Art Gallery: The Renewal of Artistic Authenticity
In a world where art too often becomes a mass-market product, where name supersedes talent and where industrial production replaces the hand of man, ARTIS Art Gallery is committed to selling only works that meet absolute quality criteria.
Our mission is simple but radical: restore nobility to the act of authentic creation.
Our commitment: true art, with brave, and above all, hardworking artists.
We travel across Asia in search of genuine talents, artists whose work is not merely a commercial strategy. For us, a work of art is not a standardized commodity. At ARTIS Art Gallery, every piece we offer meets strict demanding criteria:
100% Handmade: Each work results from meticulous artisanal work, where the artist’s hand is the sole driving force of creation.
Guaranteed uniqueness: We reject industrial reproduction, subcontracting, and factory production systems. What you acquire is a unique work, designed and created by the artist themselves.
The signature as commitment: each work is personally signed by its creator. This signature is not merely formal; it is the seal of authenticity and the guarantee that the artist fully owns their work, from the initial sketch to the finish. We reject board signatures (printed signatures); only hand-signed works are accepted, otherwise we refuse the works.
Against "Art Marketing"
We strongly oppose the current trend of selling “names” rather than works. Buying a “decorative” piece produced in series, with no real intervention by the artist, amounts to buying a fashion accessory: its value fades as soon as the marketing stalls.
We prefer to invest in the intrinsic quality of the work. An artist who takes time to create, who shapes every detail and pours their soul into their work, is the one who will leave a lasting imprint. While we cannot predict the future, we firmly believe that authentic works are the only investments that, over time, deepen in meaning, emotion, and value, where purely promotional products recede.
Why choose a work from ARTIS Art Gallery?
By choosing a work with us, you don’t merely acquire a piece of Art. You support:
1. Emerging talent: You enable talented artists to live from their art without compromising their integrity.
2. Ethics and transparency: you know exactly who made your work and how it was created.
A real guarantee of obtaining a work created by the artist themselves and not a vulgar subcontracting, is the bond between those who seek truth in art and those who create it with passion, patience and talent.
3. Enduring investment: You invest in an artistic reality rather than a marketing illusion.
4. Ethics and transparency: you know exactly who made your work and how it was created.
A true guarantee of acquiring a work created by the artist themselves, not a vulgar subcontracting, is the link between those who seek truth in art and those who create it with passion, patience and talent.

Hoang Anh — Biography
Born in 1984 in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam, lives and works in Hanoi
Originating from Thanh Hoa province, located 150 km south of Hanoi, Hoang Anh belongs to the pivotal generation of Vietnamese artists (the 8x generation) who fuse cultural heritage with contemporary abstraction. A graduate of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts, he has established himself on Hanoi’s art scene with a bold approach to material and color.
Graduate of the Artistic Talents program (class 13) at Thanh Hoa College of Culture and Arts
Graduate of the Painting Department (class 48) at Vietnam University of Fine Arts
Style and Artistic Approach
Hoang Anh’s work is distinguished by an intense exploration of texture and movement. While he explores varied themes such as landscapes, nature, and the female figure, it is in abstraction that he reveals his full expressive power:
• Gesture energy: A practitioner of oil and acrylic painting, he frequently uses a palette knife to apply color in vigorous horizontal strokes. This gesture creates a rhythm that is almost musical on the canvas.
• Chromatic contrasts: His work plays on the contrast between often neutral backgrounds (urban grays, textured whites) and bursts of primary colors — ardent reds, solar yellows, and deep blues — that seem to burst from the surface.
• Lyric abstraction: His compositions do not seek to reproduce reality but to capture its emotional essence. His canvases often evoke ephemeral phenomena: the reflection of light on water, the vibration of heat, or the bustle of a metropolis in transformation.
Exhibitions and Recognition
An active and recognized artist, Hoang Anh regularly exhibits in Hanoi’s prestigious galleries and within national artistic collectives. His works are part of numerous private collections, in Vietnam and internationally, captivating with their ability to translate an Eastern sensibility into a universal and modern language.
"Painting is, for me, a breath, a way to fix the invisible energy surrounding us." — Hoang Anh
