The three little ducks, immersed in foam, seem engaged in a silent dialogue, suspended between childhood and abstraction. The artist plays with light and matter: the saturated yellow of the figures contrasts with the milky gray of the water, creating a balance between warmth and coldness. The hyperrealistic rendering of the bubbles and reflections gives the scene an almost photographic dimension, yet the theme remains poetic — a small theater of the absurd where innocence floats in the void.
The “dialogue” between the ducklings is what brings the painting to life.
They are not simply floating objects: they seem to take part in a tiny suspended conversation, made of glances and distances, as if each one had a thought to share in the silence of the water. There is something both ironic and tender, almost a miniature social microcosm.
