Description from the seller

MV Agusta 250 Scrambler - 1970

When in 1968 MV Agusta presented its new roadster 250B twin-cylinder model in 1968, it was almost taken for granted that soon they would also present a Scrambler version.
It was a beautiful four-stroke twin of 246 cc, overhead valves, 5 gears, 19 HP at 7800 rpm, and a top speed of 125 km/h.
The styling was striking and original, and it was surely the most beautiful among the road Scramblers built up to then; although Italian riders did not share the American market’s enthusiasm for this segment, which is why about 52 units were produced from 1969 to 1970.
Silver color with a red stripe on the tank

37,162 kilometers shown on the odometer.

Frame number: MV 250 B *2110756*.

Vehicle restored over the years.

Sitting idle for some time, withdrawn from a private collection.

The bike has always been Italian (year of first registration: 1970).

Original vintage Italian license plate, province AL.

The bike is delivered with a copy of the MV Agusta historic register certificate, which reads: "The silver-painted tank featured a horizontal red band with the original MV-AGUSTA logo superimposed. This model in the 'Scrambler' version derives from the 1968 MV 250 twin. We can define it as a prototype since it was produced in only two units in 1969."

The bike is sold with a copy of the technical data.

The bike has been struck off the official registry.

Delivery possible to your home domestically and abroad.

The bike is located in Reggio Emilia – Italy.

Customer-approved costs related to customs procedures are also at the purchaser’s expense should the vehicle leave the European Community (EXTRA CE).

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
