Description from the seller
Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works, the great fascination that Italian art of the 1900s has been able to exert on him is evident, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà, and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career, there have been more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV broadcasts devoted entirely to him. The artistic work of Maestro Rolfi has been discussed by the most important journalistic outlets and television and radio broadcasters. Among the most notable events are the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held at Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria; and BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about 6 years as the set design for the GEO program on Rai 3.
