Description from the seller
Here we present a specimen with a modern, technological charm, belonging to the StarWalker collection from the Hamburg house: the Montblanc StarWalker Rubber Line Roller Pen.
The design of this writing instrument stands out for its body and cap coated in black rubber resin, enriched by a sophisticated grid pattern. The material contrast is enhanced by the glossy metallic finishes on the grip section, on the rings, and on the aerodynamically contoured clip. To seal the line’s identity, the famous transparent dome at the top of the cap is present, inside which the Montblanc white star emblem is visible.
The specimen is a screw-cap pen, designed to be securely screwed even onto the rear end of the barrel during writing. The photographs showing the instrument dismantled into its main components reveal the reloading mechanism, which occurs by easily unscrewing the metal front grip from the central body to replace the internal refill.
Regarding its condition, the object presents reasonable conditions but shows clear signs of regular daily use, which need to be specified. As carefully documented in the close-up photographs, the shiny metallic section of the grip shows numerous signs of oxidation (small dark specks/pitting across the surface). Additionally, on the cap and the barrel, the black rubber resin surface shows in some areas small defects or irregularities (slight abrasions or microscopic detachment of the rubber coating), always visible in the detailed photos.
