The tapestry is in good condition, but could use a cleaning.
Corneille (1922–2010) was a co-founder of the CoBrA movement and an important innovator in post-war art. His work evolved from abstract to figurative, with recurring themes such as birds, women, and flowers. This colorful screen print (serigraphy) is a fine example of his later style.
Viewing possible. We have our own framing workshop (85th anniversary) and work with recognized restorers (Restauratoren Nederland). Feel free to contact us via our website.
