Etienne Pixa's one-of-a-kind original acrylic painting Blue Tribe - XXL on canvas (130 x 165 cm), dated 2026, hand signed and depicting animals in a Neo-Expressionist blue palette.
Description from the seller
A powerful large-scale acrylic painting exploring a world populated by enigmatic figures suspended between childhood imagination, tribal symbolism, and Art Brut aesthetics. Five expressive characters emerge from an intense monochrome blue background, each with its own distinct personality while forming a unified visual rhythm.
Executed with spontaneous, gestural brushwork, the composition embraces raw energy over precision. The simplified forms, exaggerated expressions, and graphic contrasts evoke primitive art, outsider art, and contemporary neo-expressionism without directly referencing any specific narrative. The restrained palette reinforces the painting's strong visual impact and creates an immersive atmosphere.
