I was present, in his studio, when he created the work
Lluís Llop i Bosch (Tortosa, 1959) is a prominent Catalan visual artist, painter, and printmaker known for his focus on traditional disciplines such as drawing, painting, printmaking, and woodcut.
Biography and Training
Artistic origins: Son of the painter and art professor Lluís Llop i Adam, he began his training at age 8 at the Provincial Art School in Tortosa.
Influential teachers: He received direct instruction from his father and from the internationally renowned painter José Benet Espuny.
Graphic design: During a period he actively worked as an illustrator for the weekly Migjorn in Amposta.
Current residence: He develops much of his work from his studio located in Les Cases d'Alcanar.
