Silver-plated cigarette case (alpacca hallmark) from around 1890–1910, with fine enamel/minature painting of two horses, mare with foal.
Hand-painted depiction in a very decorative execution, inside gilded presumably late 19th century or early 20th century.
Probably Austria or France.

Dimensions: approx. 9 x 8 cm

Material: silver-plated, alpacca stamped
Condition: age-appropriate, very good, see photos.

A particularly beautiful collectible piece for Jugendstil, silver, or tobaccoiana collectors.
