Description from the seller

Zappalog (full title: Zappalog: The First Step of Zappalogy) is an iconic discography and reference work on Frank Zappa, compiled by Norbert Obermanns. First published in 1981 and reprinted by Rhino Records in 1982, the book is widely regarded by fans as one of the most important early catalogs for Zappa collectors. The work provides detailed information on Zappa's songs, albums, and artwork, focusing primarily on his output up to the mid-1970s. Collectors and fans on platforms such as Reddit still consider the guide a valuable historical document. Today, the physical book is a collector's item that occasionally surfaces at specialized antiquarian bookshops and on online auction platforms like Catawiki.

Seller's Story

My name is Hans Kesteloo and I finally decided to sell my ‘remaining’ collection of 45’s, LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, laserdiscs and other odd things after more than 60 years of ‘hardcore’ collecting. I purchased my first 45 in 1965, and this was the beginning of an enjoyable, long-time hobby – a real-time “collector’s career”. Now time has come to pass the baton ! When you like to see all my current active sale offers, then click on my name 'Klemtoon' in any lot / auction. Please note: Since I'm a one man show and aged, I can only send on mondays and thursdays. Returns: In case you like to return an item: I will refund the postage cost of shipping the item(s) to buyer. Buyer pays for the cost of returning that item(s) My grading in Brackets is the same as the grading before that, but here I use the old respected "Goldmine" grading for the older traditional collector! vg+ = slight traces of use / visible traces inaudible (Goldmine grading: VG+) ex = very light inaudible traces (Goldmine grading: VG++) nm = as new (Goldmine Grading: M-) mint = new (Goldmine grading: M)
