"Bemding Grace" is a still life created in the studio of photographer Ursula van de Bunte. It concerns a print on high-quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag. The size of the photo is 30x40 cm and it concerns the first edition of 25 copies. The photo is framed in an antique wooden frame without glass. The work is carefully packed and shipped.
In Van de Bunte's still lifes, everyday objects take on a new role. They are detached from utility and use and appear as pure forms: quiet, present, almost vulnerable. Through the soft light, the sober composition and the attention to skin, scale, glass and ceramics, a hushed world emerges in which time slows down. The photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio housed in a monumental building in the Hanseatic city of Kampen. Her work is presented in museums, galleries and at art fairs.
