Robert Wolfgang Schnell (1916 - 1986)
Robert Wolfgang Schnell, born in 1916 into a banking family from Wuppertal, came to Berlin in 1947 after his early theater work in the Rhineland, where he lived until his death. He composed, wrote poems, short stories and novels, painted oil paintings and watercolors, created woodcuts and graphics, staged plays and worked as an actor. In 1959 he founded the Hinterhof-G Galerie zinke" with Günter Bruno Fuchs.
