Montblanc - 28 Green - Ballpoint pen

The Montblanc No. 28 is a vintage ballpoint pen from the early 1960s, finished in resin with gold-plated trim and the white Montblanc emblem set into the cap top. Its most distinctive feature is the unusual clip-operated lever mechanism: pressing the small lever beneath the clip extends and retracts the writing tip, a design Montblanc promoted as the “11th Finger.” The straight profile, narrow cap bands and restrained decoration place the No. 28 firmly within Montblanc’s practical post-war writing instruments, while its uncommon mechanism gives it considerably more character than a conventional push-button ballpoint.

The pen is in deep green colour. It is in very good condition, with some light scratches. It is fitted with a working refill.
