This refined antique Japanese low table reflects the minimalist beauty of traditional Buddhist altar furniture (Kyozue or Kumotsu-dai), traditionally used for holding sutra scrolls or ritual offerings. Crafted from solid wood and finished in a deep, matte-toned black lacquer, the table features classic Japanese cabriole-style legs (Nekoa-shi / cat legs) that present a beautifully fluid and elegant silhouette.
