Beautiful and extremely rare Visconti Mecca fountain pen, a 2012 limited edition of 622 pieces worldwide.
Nib M in 23 kt palladium.
Impossible to find a full set in these conditions.
Made in glossy black resin (lucite) with a cubic cross-section and beveled corners, a clear metaphor for the geometric structure of the Kaaba. The faces bear verses from the Quran inscribed and lacquered in gold, inspired by the precious Kiswah fabric. The barrel bands echo the bricks of Mecca and are made of solid 925 sterling silver. Outer cardboard box with edges worn as shown in the photo.

Pennino M in palladio 23 kt. Impossibile da trovare full set in queste condizioni.
Realizzato in resina nera lucida (lucite) a sezione cubica con angoli smussati, una chiara metafora della struttura geometrica della Kaaba. Le facciate riportano versetti del Corano incisi e laccati in oro, ispirati al prezioso tessuto Kiswah. Gli anelli del fusto richiamano invece i mattoni della Mecca e sono realizzati in argento massiccio 925. Scatola esterna di cartone rotta ai bordi come da foto.
