AMA • Pope (1985) hand-signed, Aurora Eth Moonshot - ETHEREUM, a 2025 resin sculpture in silver, 9 cm wide, 20 cm high, 9 cm deep, edition 6/20, sold direct from the artist.
Description from the seller
AMA • Pope (1985) - "Aurora Eth Moonshot" - ETHEREUM - 6/20
Often imitated, never equaled: the original Aurora, signed "Pope".
When speculation becomes a cosmic promise.
After the success of the Aurora Borealis series, Aurora Original Counterfeit, Aurora Authentic Fake… Pope continues his ironic exploration of contemporary myths, between decentralized finance, digital culture, and a quasi-mystical projection toward new horizons of wealth.
"Aurora Eth Moonshot" distorts the Ethereum imaginary to turn it into a luminous, chrome, hypnotic, almost liturgical object.
On the front face, the message is clear:
"Eth" for Ethereum, fixed as a generational symbol, instantly recognizable.
On the sides, the formula imposes itself, unambiguous:
"TO THE MOON".
A modern incantation.
A collective promise engraved in wood.
The day: a chrome, futuristic, almost clinical icon.
The night: a multicolored aurora fills the space.
A radical contrast between blockchain technology and speculative belief.
Limited edition of 20 copies for 2025, signed, numbered, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
Fast and secure shipping (bubble wrap, tissue paper, reinforced box) with signature on delivery.
Specifications:
- 7 luminous colors
- 3 diffusion modes (static, fade transitions, simple transitions)
- Power supply via USB cord with switch (included)
- Height: 20 cm
- Width: 9 cm
- Depth: 9 cm
Sculpture made for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by artist Pope using a premium polymer vinyl personalization technique, including graphic design, precise cutting, meticulous positioning, and fully manual application of visual elements.
Who is Pope?
Pope, cofounder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe fueled by a practice of visual arts since childhood, a high standard of detail, and meticulous visual research.
Through sculptures, paintings and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and awed gaze, attentive to both the simplicity and the complexity of the world around him.
Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from trends of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few.
Whether as a gift, a memento, or your personal collection of contemporary art, you will surely find a piece that resonates thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, Pope pursues his passion for urban art through street art and pop art creations (in limited or non-limited editions), covering a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, drug abuse, luxury and haute couture brands, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, agro-food and fashion products (sports, sneakers, etc.).
Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, Pope enjoys playfully distorting labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge McDuck...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many others.
Dear bidders, our collective is making every effort to ensure that all information necessary to appreciate the lot for sale is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description, and photos... After the sale, no unjustified claim will be considered. Thank you for your understanding.
