Box - Ceramic - Ceramic Incense Box

This is a censer box used exclusively in Japanese tea ceremonies, made by the Tongshan Kiln in Lupu, and fired in 2008 the year of the Earth Rat. The censer box is shaped like a millet stalk, and a lifelike little mouse is sculpted on the lid, symbolizing "abundant harvests and good fortune." The body is covered with a powder glaze and painted with gold, with smooth lines and natural crackle on the glaze, exuding a simple and elegant charm.
